Welcome to A2X Protocol
Agent-To-Everything Protocol: A next-generation, message-driven communication layer that enables intelligent agents to connect with tools, APIs, users, other agents, and the world around them in a unified, stateful manner.
About A2X Protocol
Agent-To-Everything Protocol: Enabling continuous, contextual, multi-modal interactions for modern AI ecosystems
LLM-Native Semantics
Built with intelligent agents in mind, featuring composable abstractions and message-driven architecture optimized for AI workflows.
Stateful Interactions
Supports persistent sessions, contextual memory, and continuous reasoning across agents, tools, and environments.
Transport Agnostic
Works seamlessly across WebSockets, HTTP/3, gRPC, and other protocols for maximum compatibility and performance.
Secure Delegation
Advanced security model with secure delegation, capability discovery, and schema-rich interfaces for safe multi-agent collaboration.
Why A2X?
As intelligent agents evolve from isolated models into complex systems capable of reasoning, planning, and taking real-world actions, existing protocols like MCP (Model Context Protocol) and A2A (Agent-to-Agent) begin to show their limits. MCP excels at defining tool interfaces, while A2A introduces basic agent communication—but neither addresses continuous, contextual, multi-modal interactions across agents, tools, humans, and environments.
In high-performance settings like cloud robotics, collaborative research, or autonomous cybersecurity, agents need persistent, secure, and intent-aware channels to coordinate actions, share context, and handle ambiguity. A2X is born out of this gap—a need for a flexible, cloud-native protocol designed for modern AI ecosystems where agents must think, act, and adapt collaboratively.
Core Primitives & Innovations
Message-Driven Architecture
Built on five key primitives: Message, Observation, Intent, Action, and Feedback for comprehensive agent interactions and reasoning loops.
Multi-Agent Workflows
Enables complex collaboration patterns with capability discovery, human-in-the-loop control, and persistent contextual memory across sessions.
Beyond MCP & A2A
Addresses limitations of existing protocols by supporting continuous, contextual interactions for cloud robotics, autonomous systems, and collaborative AI research.
